Welcome to Seven Winds Institute, Inc.!
Seven Winds Institute is dedicated
to the health and well being of individuals, the local community, and
the world. Services offered at the center include:
- One-on-one health consultations with Dr. Judith Boice, naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist
- Consultations with visiting health care providers. Twice we have hosted Tibetan physicians: Dr. Tenzin Thaye and Dr. Yangbum Gyeltsin.
- Classes and events. Past events have included Nature Journaling with Maria Hodkins; The Healing Power of Music with Bobby Jimenez; Writing the Sacred with Sandra Dorr; Compassionate Communication with Jeff Tretsven; and Essence and Soaring Crane Qigong with Dr. Judith Boice. Judith has recently started teaching Awakening Light Gong.
- One on one coaching consultations with Jeff Tretsven for learning how to demonstrate compassion in your life using Nonviolent Communication. This is useful for emotional issues with self, others and conflicts involving someone close to you. Jeff also offers mediation services.

Our logo: In Tibetan and some Native American cultures, the directions are referred to as "winds." Seven Winds refers to our place of balance within creation, honoring all seven directions: east, south, west, north, above, below, and within.
DIRECTIONS TO THE CLINIC
FROM THE NORTH, to 1008 West Oak Grove Rd.:
Coming south on Highway 50, turn RIGHT at LaSalle, the very first traffic light as you
enter Montrose (even before the airport). Go 0.8 miles and turn LEFT on Marine Rd
(only goes to the left; a field is to your right. If you go up onto the mesa, you
have gone too far).
Drive straight ahead for 4 miles. A landmark to watch for on the way: at 3 miles you will come to a traffic
light at Highway 90. Go straight through the light, and continue south for another mile until you come to
a stop sign and a T-intersection.
As you sit at the stop sign, you will see a driveway directly in front of you and a sign that
says “Dr. Judith Boice, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine.”
Drive straight ahead into the driveway. The first building you see on the right is the clinic.
FROM THE SOUTH, to 1008 West Oak Grove Rd.
Drive north on Highway 550. Turn LEFT at the Ute Museum (Chipeta Dr.) Go straight ahead on Chipeta Dr. for two miles, to the 3-way intersection. Turn left at the intersection onto West Oak Grove Rd.
The clinic driveway is about ¼ mile down West Oak Grove, on the left hand side. You will see a sign that says “Dr. Judith Boice, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine.”
Turn LEFT into the driveway. The first building you see on the right is the clinic.
FROM THE EAST to 1008 West Oak Grove Rd.
Drive into Montrose, heading west on Highway 50. Cross Townsend Ave. Continue west
for one mile, to a traffic light. The Q&T Conoco gas station/convenience store will
be on your left. Turn LEFT onto 6400 Rd. Drive one mile straight south to a stop
sign and T-intersection.
As you sit at the stop sign, you will see a driveway directly in front of you and a sign
that says “Dr. Judith Boice, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine.”
Drive straight ahead into the driveway. The first building you see on the right is the clinic.
